Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck Adds Greg Wesley To Government Relations Roster |
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Greg A. Wesley has joined the firm as counsel and legislative advocate in the government relations group. He will represent clients before the California Legislature and state government agencies.
“Greg is seasoned in both the construction of policy and the strategic influence that shapes it, which helps yield positive results for clients,” said Robert J. Saperstein, Managing Shareholder for the California offices of Brownstein. “That legislative dexterity will be invaluable to our growing government relations team.”
Prior to joining Brownstein, Wesley served as policy director for the office of Assemblymember Felipe Fuentes, which entailed full responsibility for legislation authored by Fuentes and advising the Assemblymember on all aspects of policy and legislation. He also has experience representing privately retained and court-appointed clients in both state and federal court. During his tenure as mayor, James Hahn appointed Wesley to the East Los Angeles Area Planning Commission. Currently within the community, he serves on the board of directors for both Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County and Initiating Change in Our Neighborhood (ICON), which he also co-founded.
Wesley received his law degree from the Southwestern University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. |
