Angela Turriciano Otto Finalist for Chambers USA Women in Law Awards
|Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that publishers Chambers & Partners named Angela Turriciano Otto an “Up and Coming Real Estate Lawyer of the Year” finalist as part of its 2012 Chambers USA Women in Law awards. Otto is the first Brownstein and the only Nevada attorney to be acknowledged by the national Chambers USA Women in Law awards. |
The Chambers USA Women in Law awards aim to recognize the achievements of the top female attorneys nationwide in nine individual practice areas. Within each category is the “Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year,” which identifies and encourages rising talent. Otto was alongside five other finalists from around the country, and her Women in Law Q&A feature can be seen at www.chambersandpartners.com/women-in-law/angela-turriciano-otto
Chambers also recently issued its annual Chambers USA Guide in which Otto was noted for her exceptional real estate work for the second consecutive year. To compile these rankings, Chambers & Partners uses a team of more than 50 full-time, independent researchers who conduct thousands of interviews with attorneys and their clients across the U.S. Since the guide began in 1999, law firms and attorneys have been measured on technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities most valued by clients.
A shareholder in Brownstein’s Las Vegas office, Otto is widely regarded as a leading real estate attorney in Nevada. She handles some of the firm’s largest and most high-profile clients and deals, including the acquisition, disposition, development, financing and leasing of hospitality and other real estate assets. Otto is also active with pro bono efforts. She assisted The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas with its legal needs, including negotiation of the documentation with the City of Las Vegas to establish the public-private partnership; counsel on development, lease and construction agreements; and the acquisition from the City of adjacent land to develop Symphony Park, among other general matters. Otto was recently invited to join the Center's newly formed board of advisors.
