| Amy oversees the firm’s involvement in community organizations across the country and manages the firm’s charitable giving program. She assists attorneys in finding local community organizations to volunteer with that relate to their own personal passions and interests. She has experience in high-profile corporate marketing, promotional event coordination and community outreach program direction.
Amy is the founder and president of Generations Cancer Foundation (GCF), a nonprofit organization that raises awareness and funds for cancer research while involving young professionals in philanthropic work. For this Foundation she has organized such events as Sushi, Sake & Sumo; Jacks, Kings and Queens; Blues, Booze & Boxing and Step Up For Cancer. She also serves on the International Bid Committee of the Metro Denver Sports Commission, and was honored by Volunteers of America as one of the Top 100 Volunteers in 2000. She has also been honored as a 7 Everyday Hero and included in the Denver Business Journal's Forty Under 40. In 2009, she was named to the Stakeholder Grant Peer Review Committee of the American Cancer Society.
Prior to joining the firm Amy served as Senior Account Manager at Sander/GBSM, where she managed the marketing efforts for several well-known clients including Denver’s Botanic Gardens, Water World, Murray Motors and Mercedes-Benz, among others. Prior to joining Sander/GBSM, she was the director of marketing and special events at Larimer Square Management and Larimer Group Restaurants where she was responsible for simultaneously directing the marketing efforts for the entire retail district, including local and national retailers and restaurants. |
