        Vincent J. Ward

        Mr. Ward is an Associate in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Albuquerque office and is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Business and Government Relations groups.

        Mr. Ward has extensive experience with New Mexico's administrative and rule-making process, drafting state legislation and regulations, and appearing before regulatory and legislative bodies.

        Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ward served as Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel to New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. As a prominent lawyer in the Administration, Mr. Ward advised the Governor, Chief of Staff, senior policy advisors and cabinet secretaries on legal, legislative and policy initiatives, including matters related to economic development, public finance, renewable energy, tax, land use and development, healthcare reform, homeland security and public safety.

        Prior to his appointment in the Richardson Administration, Mr. Ward was an associate at Rodey, Dickason, Sloan, Akin, & Robb in Albuquerque. He previously served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy’s, Judge Advocate Generals Corps.
