Our team focuses on all aspects of the industry and is experienced in dealing with the variety of legal issues that arise, including engineering and construction, permitting, negotiating contracts and power purchase agreements, and litigation. Our lawyers also have ample experience addressing the full range of land use problems arising under federal lands law, the Endangered Species Act, NEPA, tribal law, and the Federal Power Act.
Our energy team has on the legislative front worked with many of the worlds largest energy producers involving all aspects of the traditional oil and gas industry, biofuels, alternative energy and power. Members of our Group have worked for Congress and for federal and state agencies, including Congressional energy committees, the Departments of Energy and Interior, the Department of Justice, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Colorado State Attorney General's office and the Colorado State Department of Natural Resources.
