An adept dealmaker with a diverse background in a variety of real estate asset classes, Reid Galbraith is a trusted advisor to some of the nation’s most sophisticated real estate and hospitality companies in their most complex transactions. 

Focusing principally on the hospitality industry, Reid represents clients in connection with acquisition, disposition, finance, management, franchising and development – assisting his clients to achieve unparalleled results that only are possible with counsel who has stood in the shoes of all parties at the negotiating table, be it a brand, management company, buyer or seller. 

In addition to his comprehensive hospitality practice, Reid represents parties in connection with multifamily acquisition, disposition and financing, as well as landlords and tenants in office and retail leasing, managing transactions with a focus on providing unmatched results for his clients in the most high-stakes circumstances. 

Prior to joining Brownstein, Reid worked with a Denver-based public affairs and advocacy firm, specializing in legislative and public relations strategy development. 

He serves on the board of directors of the Food Bank of the Rockies, chairing the organization’s Governance and Nomination Committee, and additionally sits on the presidential advisory board for his alma mater Coe College.

  • Represented seller in the sale of a luxury hotel, spa, and golf course in San Antonio, Texas for $616 million.

  • Represented Vail Resorts in connection with the disposition and subsequent management of the Gravity Haus Breckenridge Hotel.

  • Represented an owner of over $100 million portfolio of Mobile Home Communities in the disposition of assets within such owner’s portfolio.

  • Represented owner of a luxury mountain-based resort in mortgage and mezzanine refinancing and related management and franchise matters.

  • Represent one of the nation’s leading third-party hotel management companies in hotel management agreements across North America.

  • Represented Mill Creek Residential Trust in connection with the acquisition and development of numerous multi-family projects in Denver, Colorado.

  • Represented a Denver-based real estate investment company in numerous deals, including the $102 million sale of the Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town Hotel, the $616 million sale of the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa to The Blackstone Group; the $70 million acquisition, financing, and development of an office building in Portland, Oregon; the sale of Panorama Corporate Center, a 780,659 square foot, six-building, class A office campus in suburban Denver; and the acquisition and leasing of a 200,000 square foot high-rise core and shell office development in Austin, Texas.

  • Represented Mill Creek Residential Trust in connection with the acquisition and development of several multi-family projects in Denver, Colorado. Properties are located in central Denver, RINO, LoHi, DU and Capitol Hill areas.
