Background

Sheila Grisham supports the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group in all aspects of bankruptcy cases. Sheila handles court filings, reviews and analyzes bankruptcy pleadings and dockets deadlines, researches case information and pleadings, drafts and files various bankruptcy pleadings, and researches bankruptcy rules and procedures.

Sheila also manages the firm's audit response letters, providing information on behalf of clients to auditors relating to pending or threatened litigation, claims and assessment.

Prior to her work with the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group, Sheila supported the firm’s municipal finance work, assisting with bond counsel and disclosure counsel relating to various public and private bond transactions. Her background experience includes researching economic and demographic statistical information, due diligence review of corporate documentation, drafting intent and authorizing resolutions, publishing required notices, drafting of closing certificates, assisting with closing of transactions, filing of state and IRS notifications and preparing and distributing closing transcripts.
