Background

Heather McGraw’s work with the firm’s Real Estate Department focuses on representing land developers in all aspects of planned development projects including land acquisition, title and diligence review, assisting with the land use, entitlement and development process, and handling subsequent sales to builders or other third parties.

Since joining the firm in 2003, Heather has assisted attorneys on a variety of work for clients including land developers, real estate investment companies, ranch purchasers, biofuel and other alternative energy producers, hotel and shopping center investors and developers, commercial lenders, mezzanine lenders, borrowers, landlords as well as tenants, among others. Heather has handled varied types of transactions including shopping center and multi-property acquisitions, water rights acquisitions, multi-property pipeline right-of-way acquisitions, leases, acquisition and construction, financing and commercial loan restructuring, landbank acquisitions, long-term purchase option agreements, 1031 Exchanges, easement and other land right disputes.
