Prior to joining Brownstein, Drew served in the administration of President Barack Obama as senior counselor to Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell. Earlier, Drew served as Sen. Al Franken’s (D-MN) chief of staff and spent the first eight years of his career in the office of Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA), four of which he served as policy director.
