Continuing legal education is the goal at firm-sponsored events like our Litigation Department’s mock trials. Brownstein’s Professional Development team recruits mock jurors and witnesses from within the firm. In 2016, Brownstein was honored to have retired judges presiding over the trials and providing feedback. Litigation associates develop their trial skills by briefing, preparing and deposing witnesses over a span of two days for faux trials, overseen by the department’s co-chairs and coached by shareholders.
