Junior Corporate Paralegal

The Denver office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is seeking a junior corporate paralegal.  The junior paralegal will learn corporate transactional work under the tutelage of our senior paralegals and attorneys, including preparation of basic entity documents and filings under state and federal securities laws, and supporting the closing process of mergers, acquisitions and other transactions.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

- Solid academic credentials with a college degree or paralegal certificate

- An interest in transactional legal work

- Strong computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Xcel

- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written

- Superior organizational skills

- Consistent reliability and a strong work ethic

We envision all of the above traits, combined with a motivation to grow into a successful corporate paralegal, will be a solid foundation for this individual to thrive in our corporate department.  Our paralegals have a commitment to helping our attorneys meet client deadlines and providing top tier support, which at times includes the flexibility to work outside of regular business hours.  If this role sounds like a good fit for you and your career path, please send a cover letter and resume to our Staff Recruiting Manager, Colleen Wheeler, via email at cwheeler@bhfs.com
