Tier 1 I.T. Support Services Analyst

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is looking for a motivated individual starting out their IT career to join our busy IT department as a Tier 1 IT Support Services Analyst for a 9:00 am - 6:00 pm role. This individual will work with the rest of the team assisting our end-users in multiple locations with all Firm computer support calls.

This is an entry level Tier 1 Help Desk position. The majority of the position will be spent answering incoming computer support calls via phone, email, and/or personal contact, and entering the problems into our incident tracking system; followed by providing PC technical support for first level software and hardware questions. This individual will also perform routine maintenance on PC's and printers, in addition to assisting with installation and configuration as requested.

The successful candidate will exhibit excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, and maintain a focus on end-user needs. Sound and calm troubleshooting skills are required, in addition to possessing the ability to recognize critical situations and discern when to apply a sense of urgency.

Previous law firm and/or professional services help desk experience is helpful but not required for this position. In addition to working knowledge of PC operating systems, office applications, a basic understanding of networking technologies, and a minimum of 1 -2 years of technical support experience.
