Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck has an immediate opportunity for an associate with 1-3 years of experience in natural resources law.
For this position, ideal candidates will have experience in a number of critical areas of natural resources law, including: litigation and administrative proceedings, strategic water supply planning, water rights permitting and regulatory compliance, adjudications of groundwater rights and water utility concerns. The position will offer the opportunity to hone the candidate’s existing understanding of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, administrative proceedings, complex groundwater adjudications, water rights due diligence and transfers, and infrastructure development and use.
Qualified candidates will show an excellent academic record, strong writing, analytical, and public presentation skills, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with clients, agency officials, and the public.
