A group of employees from Brownstein’s Denver office joined Reading Partners Colorado for a group tutoring event on Jan. 17. Volunteers read with students at Dora Moore School and helped them learn specific skills necessary to become proficient readers.
Reading Partners Colorado's mission is to help children become lifelong readers by empowering communities to provide individualized instruction with measurable results. The organization focuses on students who are one month to 2.5 years behind grade level in reading. Reading Partners works with low-income schools because they believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn the fundamental skill of reading.
