Brownstein Employees Make Fleece Blankets for Freedom Service Dogs

August 27, 2019

Last week, 65 Brownstein employees from the firm’s Denver office made 32 fleece dog blankets for Freedom Service Dogs of America, a nonprofit organization that provides custom-trained assistance dogs for people in need. Most years, Freedom Service Dogs graduates 50 service dogs to increase independence and stability to their human partners.

Representatives from the organization, along with two service puppies, were on-site to answer questions about the program while employees made blankets. Additionally, leftover fleece was repurposed and made into 25 dog toys.

Throughout the year, Brownstein employees participate in Karma Projects, designed to give our employees, clients, family and friends an opportunity to give back to the communities where we work and live.
