To celebrate Nevada Reading Week, a group of employees from Brownstein’s Las Vegas office read to students at its adopted school, Halle Hewetson Elementary School.
Nevada Reading Week, which was held this year from Feb. 25 through March 1, was established in 1987 as an initiative for Nevada teachers and librarians to celebrate reading through shared thematic activities. Nevada Reading Week usually begins during the last week of February and coincides with Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2. Local celebrities, parents and community members participate in the festivities by telling stories and reading to Nevada students.
Throughout the year, our employees participate in Karma Projects, designed to give our employees, clients, family and friends an opportunity to give back to the communities where we work and live.
