Brownstein’s Denver Summer Associates Serve Meals Through Capitol Hill Community Services’ Lunch Program

August 02, 2018

Brownstein’s Denver summer associates learned firsthand about the firm’s core value of giving back as they volunteered their time to serve lunch at Trinity Church last month.

As part of the firm’s Karma Program, the summer associates served 124 people in need at Trinity Church through the lunch program offered through Capitol Hill Community Services (CHCS). CHCS serves lunch throughout central Denver to provide a reliable source of daily nutrition for homeless individuals to help them get back on their feet. The firm volunteers with CHCS regularly; Trinity Church is just a block away from Brownstein’s Denver offices, allowing the firm to give back to those in need right in its own neighborhood.

Throughout the year, Brownstein organizes Karma volunteer projects so employees and clients as well as their family and friends can give back to the communities in which they live and work. For the firm’s 50th anniversary, Brownstein plans to complete 50 Karma Projects in 2018.
