A group of volunteers from Brownstein’s Las Vegas office participated in Downtown Cares’ ninth annual Day of Volunteerism on May 4, a grassroots effort to uplift downtown Las Vegas by organizing residents, business and community leaders to get involved and volunteer in neighborhood service days.
Brownstein volunteers joined others from their community to give the Downtown Boys & Girls Club a makeover by painting indoor murals and interior rooms, updating the outdoor play area, planting a garden and enhancing the club’s teen center.
The Downtown Boys & Girls Club is one of 13 clubs that comprise the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada teach kids and teens how to be responsible, engaged citizens and leaders through mentorship, accountability and modeling good behavior.
