Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Sarah Auchterlonie, a shareholder in the firm’s Denver office, has joined the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, a nonprofit organization that builds and sells homes to hard-working people in need of decent and affordable housing. During its 39-year history in Denver, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver has served more than 800 families.
As part of her role, Auchterlonie will help the organization with its strategic planning. She has been involved with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver for several years, providing pro bono legal services.
“My practice as a consumer finance attorney focuses on compliance and expanding access to credit so more people can achieve the American dream,” said Auchterlonie. “Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver doesn’t simply build houses; it provides and services affordable mortgage products for a variety of housing products. I am thrilled to put my passion for lending into action with a nonprofit that has such a significant and measurable positive impact on our community.”
