Bruce James, Managing Partner and CEO of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, and Steve Smith, General Counsel of Lockheed Martin Space Systems, will serve as co-presenters for the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel's (ACC) Diversity Lunch and CLE, “Innovation in Diversity and Inclusiveness: A Dialogue about How Colorado Is Leading the Way.”
Colorado is leading the legal profession by creating real solutions to the diversity “dilemma.” Learn about a cutting-edge retention initiative from two of the key players. Discover what they are doing to create partnerships between corporate GCs and law firm managing partners to address one of the legal profession’s most challenging issues. This innovative workshop will include a review of the current state of diversity and inclusiveness in the legal profession in Colorado, a discussion of ways to partner to create change and impact retention of diverse attorneys, and how to begin to implement inclusiveness programs within your organization to help recruit, retain, and advance diverse attorneys.
The event will be held at Cool River in Greenwood Village, Colorado on January 20, 2010.
