DOJ Issues Much Anticipated Cyber-Digital Task Force Report

This week, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) released a much-anticipated report from its Cyber-Digital Task Force. The task force was formed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions in February of 2018 with the goal of addressing two basic issues: (1) how the department is combatting the global cyber threat and (2) how federal law enforcement can more effectively accomplish its mission in this area. The task force included representatives of all relevant DOJ components, including both the FBI and the DOJ Office of Privacy & and Civil Liberties, and was chaired by Associate Deputy Attorney General Sujit Raman.
