Brownstein client, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), held its annual Government Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, DC this week. CUNA is the nation’s premier credit union trade association representing approximately 5,200 credit unions across the country. Thousands of credit union members descended on Washington this week to attend the conference and meet with policymakers. Several of Brownstein’s team participated in various panels at the CUNA GAC. Michael Pryor presented to CUNA’s Consumer Protection Subcommittee on CUNA’s ongoing legal advocacy on behalf of its members regarding ADA website demand letters. Will Moschella participated in a panel discussing the role of the Department of Justice and Congress in the ongoing ADA website accessibility debate. Barry Jackson and Mark Begich presented on a panel reflecting on the Trump Administration’s first year, as well as an outlook on the 2018 midterm elections.
