Shareholder Christine Jochim Joins Women’s Bean Project’s Board of Directors

December 07, 2021

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Christine Jochim, a shareholder in its Denver office, has been elected to the board of directors of Women’s Bean Project, a nonprofit organization with the mission to change women’s lives by providing stepping stones to self-sufficiency through social enterprise.

As part of her role, Jochim will assist the organization with fundraising and raising awareness of the organization in the community and through participation in its annual Ready, Set, Grow luncheon.

“I have long been interested and involved with efforts that advance women, particularly through education, and the Women’s Bean Project’s mission aligns well with those efforts,” she said. “For over 30 years, the Women’s Bean Project has been transforming the lives of women who are chronically unemployed by teaching them to work by making nourishing products. This work is tremendously important to breaking the cycle of poverty and helping these women build confidence and find purpose.”
