Brownstein’s Joshua Weiss Named Chair-Elect of Resource Central’s Board of Directors

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Joshua Weiss, an associate in the firm’s Denver office, has been named chair-elect of the board of directors of Resource Central and will serve as its chair in 2020. Resource Central focuses on putting conservation into action with innovative programs that help people save water, reduce waste and conserve energy. Headquartered in Boulder, Resource Central operates various conservation programs across the state.

In his new role, Weiss—who has been active with the organization for several years and a member of its board since December 2016—will oversee Resource Central’s strategy, board governance, program performance and metrics related to finances and program effectiveness. 

“I have a strong commitment to environmental conservation and am especially encouraged by Resource Central’s innovative programs that encourage sustainable practices,” Weiss said. “The organization is extremely well governed and its reach continues to grow.”
