Nancy A. Strelau, shareholder in the Denver office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, was recently appointed to the Colorado AIDS Project (CAP) Board of Directors.
Prior to her appointment to the Board, she assisted the CAP board with HIPPA privacy issues on a pro bono basis. Now as a board member, Strelau will continue to provide counsel and provide pro bono representation for the agency. Additionally, she will offer oversight and guidance to the organization and its operations, participate in CAP events and assist in raising funds for the organization.
Colorado AIDS Project is a 25 year-old community based organization that helps those living with HIV/AIDS, and those at risk, to make healthy choices for a self sufficient, enhanced quality of life. CAP provides innovative, individualized services to those most in need, educates high-risk populations, and advocates for social and health care equity.
