Melissa Kuipers, an attorney and policy advisor with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s government relations group, was recently appointed to the Board of the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts. As a board member, Kuipers will combine her passion for the arts with her professional experience to develop business and cultural opportunities to benefit the entire state of Colorado. For the past two years she has been the lead lobbyist for CINEMA (Colorado Innovators of New Entertainment, Media & Arts) and worked with the Colorado Legislature and Governor's Office to pass legislation to expand and grow Colorado's movie, television and video game incentive and loan guarantee programs.
