Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Ellen Schulhofer, shareholder and firm co-managing partner, was elected to the Board of Trustees for the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. Schulhofer was selected for the role through an official ballot process, and inducted as a trustee on Dec. 17 at the Chamber’s Installation Luncheon.
"I am honored to join my fellow Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce trustees, all of whom have made a significant commitment to the Las Vegas community and to ensuring a business-friendly environment in Southern Nevada,” said Schulhofer. “I believe strongly in giving back to the community in which I work and live, and look forward to even more opportunities in that regard as a member of the board.”
In addition to her role as co-managing partner, Schulhofer provides corporate counsel to some of the most high-profile brands in Southern Nevada. She serves as Nevada-based counsel to public and privately-held companies, investment banks, private equity funds and venture capitalists in equity and debt offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset purchases, restructurings, entity formations, operating, stockholders, joint venture agreements and other complex corporate transactions in both the gaming and non-gaming arena. She regularly provides advice on corporate governance matters to boards of directors and special committees of public and private companies, and as a trustee for the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce will provide valuable insight to further the chamber’s goals of advocacy, partnership and resources for the Las Vegas community.
The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in Nevada. It supports business-building programs, a full calendar of annual events, cost-saving programs for members, and advocacy and representation at all levels of government.
