Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce Ellen Schulhofer, the firm’s co-managing partner and managing partner of its Las Vegas office, recently joined the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law Dean's Council as a council member.
The Dean’s Council is comprised of judges, attorneys, and the District Attorney and Public Defender for Clark County, among others. The group serves as the Dean's advisory board on matters related to the law school.
“I am thrilled to join the esteemed members of the Dean’s Council and contribute to the future of the Boyd School of Law,” said Schulhofer. “Dean Dan Hamilton has a compelling vision for the school, particularly with respect to the enhancement of its first-rate gaming law program. I look forward to collaborating with the Dean and other members of the Council in support of his vision.”
Schulhofer’s legal practice centers on Brownstein’s Corporate & Business Department. She and her team have served as Nevada counsel to public and privately-held companies, investment banks, private equity funds and venture capitalists in corporate governance matters, equity and debt offerings and complex corporate transactions in both the gaming and non-gaming arena.
