Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck reports $6,930,000 for its second-quarter 2017 federal lobbying revenues. This represents the highest LDA filing for the firm since the fourth quarter of 2015.
“We’ve seen a lot of growth as a firm in 2017,” said Elizabeth Gore, Brownstein’s Government Relations department chair. “We’ve hired nine new policy team members since the beginning of the year, adding former McConnell chief of staff Brian McGuire on the policy side and expanding our telecommunications practice with the addition of Michael Pryor. We’ve added 15 clients in the second quarter and continue to be at the forefront of major issues such as healthcare, tax reform, energy and infrastructure. We expect the growth we’ve seen thus far to carry on through the end of the year.”
The numbers for the second quarter of 2017 will be filed on July 20 as part of the quarterly filing requirements under the federal Lobbying Disclosure Act.
