Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Shareholder Rich Benenson has been elected to the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Board of Directors.
In this three-year position, Benenson will facilitate the mission of the foundation to educate and inspire people who want to make a difference as leaders in their community. Benenson will draw from his experience of more than 20 years in practice and owning a business, 15 years of community and board service, and his prior leadership roles and training.
The foundation has built strong, diverse leaders for more than 40 years using the values of Colorado’s Civic DNA: inclusivity, collaboration, share vision, leadership and responsibility. It has trained more than 4,000 people to lead in the community, takes on more than 30 projects per year and awarded more than $190,000 in scholarships invested annually in emerging ideas.
“I believe in the power and efficacy of the Leadership Denver Program,” Benenson said. “It is truly one of the most inspiring programs I’ve experienced. The direction, focus and commitment to volunteerism generated through the program have become a permanent part of my approach. Moreover, the experience has made me a better firm leader and community member by enriching my understanding of Denver and Colorado, diversifying my perspective and expanding my collaborative network.”
