Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Jay Spader, a shareholder in the Denver office, was recognized with a 2017 M&A Advisor Emerging Leaders Award. Recipients will be recognized with this national award on September 19 in New York City at the New York Athletic Club.
The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition and presentation of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, created this national award to promote and recognize the emerging leaders in mergers and acquisitions and finance who have reached a significant level of success and made a notable contribution to their industry and community. With the expansion of the Emerging Leaders program to the United Kingdom, and Europe in 2016, the 2017 U.S. award winners join a truly global network of outstanding young professionals.
“Since joining Brownstein, Jay has worked to lead the firm’s expansion of its complex finance transactions practice adding new clients, talent and successes,” said Gino Maurelli, chair of Brownstein’s Corporate and Business Department. “Jay’s tireless commitment, hard work and legal knowledge has not only made him a notable finance attorney in Colorado, but also enhanced Brownstein’s reputation for corporate finance.”
A key member of Brownstein’s Corporate and Business Department, Jay has extensive experience representing both borrowers and lenders in a wide variety of complex financing transactions. His practice, on both the borrower side and the lender side, has focused primarily on the financing of leveraged buyouts.
