Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce today its combination with Schwartz Flansburg, a litigation and bankruptcy firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The combination represents another strategic investment in Brownstein’s litigation and bankruptcy practices and further cements Brownstein’s status as one of the top law firms in Nevada.

“A key element of our strategy is to identify top legal talent and practices that complement our existing strengths to benefit our clients by increasing depth, bench strength and practice skills,” said Adam Agron, Brownstein’s managing partner. “By having Sam Schwartz and Frank Flansburg and their colleagues join our team, we’re doing just that. They have a stellar reputation, and we look forward to the energy, talent and unique expertise they will bring to our Las Vegas office and our clients across the country.”

Joining Brownstein as shareholders are Schwartz Flansburg cofounders Sam Schwartz and Frank Flansburg, as well as Bryan Lindsey, joining as of counsel, Troy Domina and Connor Shea, joining as associates, and seven support team members.

“Coming from a firm specializing in litigation and bankruptcy, we were interested in joining Brownstein because of the platform it offers us as well as its proven talent,” said Schwartz.

Flansburg agreed, “Brownstein is a perfect home for our attorneys, paralegals and staff. Together, we will capitalize on our collective experience and resources to deliver outstanding results for clients and execute on our shared strategic vision.”

Prior to starting his own firm, Schwartz practiced commercial bankruptcy law at Kirkland & Ellis and White & Case. He represents debtors and creditors in a broad range of business reorganization matters, including Chapter 11 cases, restructurings, workouts, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate representation.
