Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck Joins Law Firm Antiracism Alliance

July 14, 2020

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is proud to announce that it has joined the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance (LFAA), a coalition of more than 200 leading firms across the nation dedicated to identifying and dismantling systemic racism in the law and society at large.

The LFAA is committed to leveraging the pro bono resources of the private bar in partnership with legal services organizations to amplify the voices of communities and individuals oppressed by racism, to better use the law as a vehicle for change that benefits communities of color and to promote racial equity in the law. Members firms will dedicate substantial pro bono resources to initiatives that address systemic racism.

“Brownstein is proud to collaborate with our colleagues in the legal industry to impact meaningful change and address racism,” said Managing Partner Rich Benenson. “We strive to be a leader when it comes to dedicating pro bono services to promote racial equity and increasing equitable access to opportunities for diverse attorneys and policy professionals. We believe the LFAA is an important step in the right direction.”

Brownstein’s participation in the LFAA is part of the ongoing work of the Brownstein Pro Bono Program, in coordination with the firm’s Committee on Diversity, Inclusion & Equity.
