Chloe Mickel Joins Board of Directors of Denver Urban Gardens

January 23, 2020

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Chloe Mickel, an associate in the firm’s Denver office, has joined the board of directors of Denver Urban Gardens (DUG), a nonprofit organization that provides the resources, training and support needed to establish gardens that become valuable assets to neighborhoods. DUG currently operates over 181 community gardens throughout metro Denver, including more than 66 school-based community gardens.

As part of her two-year term, Mickel will assist DUG with its strategic planning process.

“Healthy eating has always been important to me, but when I became a parent I became more aware of my ability to easily access nutritious, high-quality food,” she said. “By serving on DUG's board, I can address gaps in access in the metro Denver area.”
