Brownstein Welcomes Melanie Taylor as Of Counsel in its Real Estate Department

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Melanie Taylor has joined the firm as of counsel in its Denver office.

Taylor, joining the firm’s Real Estate Department, counsels and represents institutional investors, REITs and developers in a broad range of large and complex real estate transactions in New York and nationally, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development. She also counsels small businesses and nonprofit corporations. Her work spans office, retail, multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use properties as well as established, redevelopment and new construction property types. Prior to Brownstein, Taylor was an associate at Fried Frank in New York City. 

“We’re excited to welcome Melanie to our department and know that our team and clients will benefit greatly from her expertise on a wide range of real estate transactions,” said Nicole Ament, chair of Brownstein’s Real Estate Department. 

Taylor received her law degree from George Washington University Law School and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.
