Sarah Mercer Recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business by Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce

August 27, 2021

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Sarah Mercer, a shareholder in the firm’s Government Relations Department, was recognized by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) as one of its 2021 Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business.

Now in its ninth year recognizing over 225 women, CWCC’s Top 25 Most Powerful Women Gala celebrates and recognizes women who operate at the highest level of business performance and community leadership. The event recognizes the professional achievements and contributions to the Denver community by the recipients, who are chosen by a selection committee that includes some of the CWCC’s past Top 25 honorees.

Mercer helps her clients overcome challenging and entrenched legal issues by leveraging her knowledge of and relationships in state and local government to find creative political and administrative solutions. She draws on her close ties with elected officials and bureaucratic staff to connect and bridge relationships among diverse stakeholders. No stranger to high-profile policy matters, Mercer is at the forefront of some of the hottest regional and national issues—the Paycheck Protection Program, campaign finance, ballot initiatives, gaming and sports betting to name a few.

She was honored at the Top 25 Most Powerful Women Gala on Aug. 19.
