Brownstein's Premier Gaming Practice Expands With Renowned Talent: Paul O'Gara, Pacifico Agnellini and Dennis Daly

One of the nation's premier gaming practice groups, chaired by named partner Frank Schreck, expanded its national, multi-jurisdictional platform with the opening of an Atlantic City office and the hiring of New Jersey gaming attorneys Paul O'Gara, Pacifico "Pat" Agnellini and Dennis Daly. The office opened and is located at Absecon Professional Center, 707 White Horse Pike, Suite C-5, Absecon, NJ 08201.

"The addition of Paul, Pat and Dennis plus our presence in Atlantic City solidifies our position as one of the nation's premier gaming practice groups," said Schreck, chair of the Gaming Law Group at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. "For the past three decades, we've worked for many mutual clients, representing them on issues as they've pertained to different jurisdictions. With the addition of my longtime friends, Paul, Pat and Dennis, we're rounding out our U.S. presence to better serve our clients."

With this expansion, Brownstein positions itself as the largest national gaming practice with offices in both Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The expansion east also allows the Gaming Law Group to better serve its existing clients on a national, multi-jurisdictional platform. Clients include: Caesars Entertainment, bwin International, Tropicana Entertainment and Landry’s Inc. As lawmakers in New Jersey move forward to pass internet gambling, Brownstein is immediately positioned to handle issues that arise in the market as a result.

Brownstein attorneys represent gaming clients with licensing, interactive gaming, regulatory investigations and compliance matters and related approvals from the relevant governmental agencies. With perspective gained from extensive experience as regulators, as well as years of corporate counsel experience with premier gaming entities, Brownstein's Gaming Law Group is uniquely positioned to assist clients in obtaining the necessary approvals for public offerings, financings, business restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions. The firm stands apart in this field due to a particular focus and experience with large, complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions which extends to Indian reservations and gaming jurisdictions throughout the U.S., Japan, Macau, Puerto Rico, Spain and Great Britain, among others.

"Frank Schreck and our gaming group are widely recognized as one of the most experienced and accomplished groups in gaming," said Bruce James, managing partner of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. "Paul, Pat and Dennis are a natural fit given their expertise, experience and our mutual client base. This addition strengthens our depth and reputation as we continue to grow in online gaming."
