Jonas, Tamala

Dr. Tamala Jonas applies her materials science and engineering background to patent prosecution in a variety of technology areas such as electronic devices, electronic packaging, sensors, thin films, 3D printing, nanostructured materials, separation membranes, batteries, and medical devices.  Her background includes metal, ceramic, semiconductor, and carbon materials.

Tamala is a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting both domestic and foreign patent applications.

Prior to coming to Brownstein, she worked as a patent agent for two Boulder, Colorado-based firms. Before joining the legal profession, Tamala worked as a metallurgist for a beverage can manufacturer in Illinois.
