Pulling from her established track record representing clients in development matters, Abby assists clients with projects from beginning to end.
Through her time as a development attorney, she has honed in on the subsection of where corporate work meets real estate law, all the while dedicating herself to being accessible to clients and quickly to respond to their needs.
She has experience in facilitating joint venture partnerships and project opportunities, performing due diligence in all phases of real estate transactions, supervising renovation activities and participating in the development review process in municipalities and counties across Colorado. With a background in land use, urban planning and municipal representation, Abby also frequently works on projects at the local government level, providing her with vital knowledge of local government and land use issues.
Her Colorado-centric practice and experience allows Abby to guide clients through land use and development matters and matters such as metro districts and local government entitlements. Most recently, she has contributed to work on an innovative 480-unit, net zero energy housing development, a project that began with annexation and has required multiple tiers of entitlements.
Prior to joining the firm, Abby was an associate with White, Bear, Ankele, Tanaka & Waldron, P.C. in Centennial, Colorado and also worked as a partner in Westbrook Development Partners in Denver, Colorado. She previously served as a law clerk for the Colorado Municipal League and interned for the Denver City Attorney’s Office and for Clarion Associates.
Abby holds a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado.
