With over 10 years of experience in research and product development, Benno Guggenheimer brings his technical background to bear on his patent work for Fortune 500 companies. His practice includes patent prosecution and patent analysis for electronic devices, software products, medical devices, and automated systems.

Benno works closely with his clients to develop and maintain patent portfolios that are relevant and commercially viable.  Benno routinely provides analysis for patent acquisitions, preparation for licensing and license enforcement for consumer electronics, software products, and a variety of other technical areas. He applies his litigation experience to patent disputes and is skilled at patent due diligence, asset assertion, and infringement analysis.

Prior to joining the firm, Benno was an associate with Morrison & Foerster LLP in San Francisco, California, and a judicial extern for the Honorable George P. Schiavelli in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and served as Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology at UCLA School of Law.
