She provides legal expertise to local and national developers when they consider the development or acquisition of a wide range of property assets, including apartments and multifamily residential buildings, office, retail, ski resorts, golf courses, industrial, mixed use and land.
In Colorado, Catherine has an intricate understanding of the development and business climate and experience representing big-box retailers and local developers on land use, title and financing matters. On the national scale, Catherine has worked on complex development projects for resorts such as Squaw Valley, large mixed-use projects and nationwide portfolio acquisitions in the hospitality, resort and recreation industry, and the multifamily residential industry. She also represents agricultural clients in the acquisition and disposition of vineyards and farms.
Prior to joining Brownstein, Catherine represented major financial institutions in real estate litigation, Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters and other matters related to real estate secured debt.
