Larson, Nicholas J.

In his transactional real estate practice, Nick Larson brings his extensive experience representing developers, investors and institutional lenders in real estate acquisitions, financings, development and joint ventures. A Colorado native, he has represented clients in matters spanning the U.S. His experience also includes negotiation of construction and design contracts, including American Institute of Architect contracts.

Nick has been involved in several multimillion-dollar deals. While practicing in D.C., he represented a developer in a $50.2 million sale of a ground leasehold interest in a trophy retail space located in the Georgetown neighborhood. The deal set a price record in the District at $5,720 per square foot. He also represented a prominent developer in a joint venture structuring and in negotiations for the development and financing of a $65 million mixed-use portfolio.

Prior to Brownstein, Nick was an associate at a law firm in Washington, D.C., and served as an appellate and trial attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. While in the JAG Corps, Nick earned the Parachutist Badge and was rated as in the top 2 of 40 peers by the staff judge advocate.

Representative Matters
  • Represented Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in connection with the closing of a revolving and term credit facility secured by seventeen fuel retail properties located across two states.
