Schwartz, Samuel A.

Both a real estate broker and transactional attorney, Sam Schwartz represents debtors and creditors in a broad range of business reorganization matters, including Chapter 11 cases, restructurings, workouts, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate representation.

In the corporate arena, Sam’s arsenal includes experience and knowledge surrounding acquisitions and mergers. Paired with real estate expertise, he has also handled all aspects of real estate short sales and has had a hand in the management of the sale of under-water properties in Nevada, California, Arizona, Florida and Illinois.

Sam joined Brownstein after co-founding his own firm, Schwartz Flansburg. Prior to that, he practiced commercial bankruptcy law at Kirkland & Ellis and White & Case.
