With a military background, David Willner brings deep analytical skills and discipline to his litigation practice. He has experience with constitutional, corporate, antitrust, consumer protection, compliance and securities litigation matters.
David was a Brownstein summer associate in 2019 and 2020 and worked as a law clerk for the firm for several semesters. Prior to law school, he served as an engineer officer in the U.S. Army for five years, spending most of his time stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. He currently serves as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
While earning his law degree, he served as a staff editor on the University of Colorado Law Review and volunteered for the Korey Wise Innocence Project. He also served as a legal extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District Of Colorado, where he researched and wrote legal memoranda on civil and criminal law matters.
His license to practice in Colorado is currently pending.
