Kathy Folkers brings more than 20 years of real estate paralegal experience after joining the firm in 2017. She supports Brownstein’s real estate attorneys with respect to development projects, acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate.
Kathy’s key role includes preparation of purchase and sale agreements, amendments and closing documentation. She has extensive experience with analyzing title commitments, ALTA/ACSM surveys and due diligence materials. Kathy also coordinates satisfaction of title company requirements and prepares recommendations to cure title and survey objections or defects.
Prior to joining the firm, Kathy has worked as a real estate paralegal at various firms in Portland, Oregon, and as a land use paralegal and lease analyst at two firms in Vancouver, Washington.
