Carstens, Charlotte

Charlotte Carstens supports Brownstein’s government relations team by providing legislative and regulatory updates, and analyzing the impacts of policy decisions for clients. Her work spans a wide range of international issues, including international trade, defense, immigration and U.S. foreign relations.

Prior to joining Brownstein, Charlotte interned with BMW’s government affairs team in Munich, Germany and Washington, D.C., where she tracked and analyzed policy decisions related to international trade. For two years, Charlotte worked for the German American Business Council, facilitating transatlantic business dialogue between public and private stakeholders. Charlotte also served as a parliamentary fellow in the German Bundestag. As a fellow in the office of Detlef Seif, a member of parliament (MP), she worked on policy issues for the Committee on Internal Affairs and Community and the Committee on European Union Affairs, including Brexit and migration.
