Joynes, Greta

Bringing more than a decade of Capitol Hill experience to her government relations practice, Greta Joynes provides her clients with in-depth advice grounded in a strong background of telecommunications and technology policy.

Greta’s career has provided her with an excellent grasp of energy, health and environment issues. She has drafted key legislation and amendments related to those industries, including the DOTCOM Act, the Next Generation Public Safety Technology Act and the FCC Collaboration Act.

Prior to joining Brownstein, Greta served as deputy chief of staff and legislative director for Rep. John Shimkus (R-IL), where she worked with the Energy, the Health, and the Environment and Economy Subcommittees and advised the congressman on the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology.
