Kowalczyk, Josh A.

Josh Kowalczyk pairs an interest in global politics, macroeconomics and commerce with practical experience in financial policy and business to his work at Brownstein. Josh supports the firm’s Government Relations Department with critical research, client correspondence and legislative tracking of various policy issues related to tax, financial services, technology and the workforce.

Prior to joining Brownstein, Josh acquired a spectrum of policy and business experiences both in Washington, D.C., and in Wisconsin. He was formerly a legislative intern for Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI) and had previously interned at both the Bipartisan Policy Center and the Delegation of the European Union to the U.S. In these roles, Josh primarily acted as an assistant researcher on macroeconomic and tech policies, and frequently assisted staff, diplomats, and scholars with external outreach and meetings. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Josh’s several internships provided a bevy business development, market research and sales consulting experience.
