Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck shareholder Lauren Schmidt discussed the firm’s pro bono program as a guest on the Pro Bono Institute’s Pro Bono Happy Hour podcast.
Schmidt, the firm’s Pro Bono Partner, spoke about the history of the pro bono program at Brownstein, the growth of the program firmwide, and some of the cases the firm has taken on a pro bono basis.
The Pro Bono Institute is a nonprofit that works with law firms, in-house corporate legal departments, and public interest organizations in exploring, identifying, evaluating, and catalyzing new approaches to and resources for the provision of legal services to the poor, disadvantaged, and other individuals or groups unable to secure legal assistance to address critical problems. Brownstein is a signatory to the Pro Bono Institute’s Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge.
