Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Denver office hosted a Karma Lunch & Learn with Special Olympics Colorado on September 12. Brownstein employees heard from Special Olympics Colorado’s President & CEO Mindy Watrous and Senior Director of Development Megan Toohey as well as a Special Olympics parent and athlete.
The mission of Special Olympics Colorado is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Brownstein’s own Evan Rothstein serves on Special Olympics Colorado’s board of directors.
